Conveniently situated in the Stratford area of Newham, this development is perfectly placed for leisure, entertainment and retail therapy. Just one stop on the DLR or a short bus ride from Westfield Stratford City and the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park, and wealth of shops, restaurants and events are all on your doorstep.

One of the largest urban shopping centres in Europe, Westfield Stratford City is the obvious perk of living at Stratford High Street. With over 300 shops and restaurants to choose from, it really is your one stop shop for fashion, beauty, lifestyle and fresh food.

Declaring themselves “east London’s newest rooftop bar, cinema and urban park located in the heart of Stratford”, Roof East is a hub of off-the-wall entertainment and fun. With Birdie’s crazy golf and the Rooftop Film Club both boasting residencies over summer, and karaoke and curling during the winter, there’s always something to do at Roof East. The perfect destination to relax with friends, visit the undercover Roof East Bar and sample the tantalising street food on offer while taking in views of the skyline.

Another hidden gem to indulge your senses is Randy’s Wing Bar, located at the Here East Technology Innovation Centre. Their specialty is wings that are influenced by flavours from around the world. Or, if wings aren’t your thing, try one of their chicken or vegetarian burgers or a refreshing cocktail instead. Founded by owners Richard and Andy in 2013, Randy’s Wing Bar has already found success through pub residencies and regular appearances on the London street food scene.

For arts, culture and entertainment, the Stratford East theatre consistency showcases a variety of talented artists, from live music to stand-up comedians and more. Actor and manager Charles Dillon set out to have a theatre built in Stratford and starred in the first ever play there. The theatre was then bought by local coal merchant Albert O’Leary Fredericks, who passed the theatre down through generations. Today, the theatre is expanding to bring you a new 220-seat theatre called The Red Crate, doubling the number of performances you can attend.

Not just a sporting venue, the Copper Box Arena at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park also supports people of different abilities, ages and specialist requirements by organising activities for improving health within the community. It’s also one of the Better Gym venues, with a range of monthly membership options available close to home. Plus, Better Gym also provides access to the London Aquatic Centre, meaning swimmers of all levels have access to use these world-class swimming pools.
