It’s the best way to get on the housing market in our opinion
"We spend less now than we did renting before"
Daniele Tacconi, a project manager working in central London, has recently purchased his first property through Family Mosaic’s Shared Ownership scheme at Drayton Place, West Ealing. Daniele and his partner Monica, a Content Editor who works in West Ealing, together they have been searching for their first home in London. Drayton Place offers large floor-to-ceiling windows leading to views over neighbouring Drayton Green Park – an abundance of beautiful four-acre green space on their doorstep.
Daniele and Monica were prone to a noisy environment whilst previously living in Ealing Broadway. Daniele comments: "When we were living in Ealing Broadway, it used to be very noisy and we were keen to find somewhere calmer. Little did we know we would find this calmness just a few minutes away. We had been searching the property market when we found Drayton Place. As we lived so close, we would regularly walk past and watch over the months as it came together. We had a look around at the first opportunity and loved the interiors. We found tranquillity in West Ealing and we couldn’t be happier."
"Family Mosaic were so flexible and completely committed to helping us move into our first home"
On-going struggles of soaring house prices and demand for large deposits continues to make it difficult for first time buyers to get on the property ladder. Daniele continues to say, "It can be hard starting in London as a first time buyer but the Shared Ownership scheme at Drayton Place is a great way to do it; we spend less now than we did renting before. It’s the best way to get on the housing market in our opinion."
Daniele and Monica bought their two bedroom property at the beginning of 2016 and comment on the buying process; "Family Mosaic were so flexible and completely committed to helping us move into our first home. We could not recommend them enough as they provide buyers with excellent service and recommendations."
Drayton Place has been built with the intention of maximising light throughout each apartment, creating a bright and airy space for its residents. Along with this, each home is completed to a high specification with fully integrated appliances including a Zanussi oven, ceramic hob, telescopic extractor hood, fridge freezer, kitchen units by Manhattan, along with Oak laminate wood flooring.

Launched in Autumn 2015, Drayton Place offers a stylish selection of eight 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments available through Shared Ownership, with transport links that are second to none. Direct trains run to Paddington every 15 minutes and the Central and District tube lines are just one stop away at Ealing Broadway. The Crossrail is due to arrive in 2019, making central London even easier to travel around, a prospect that Daniele is very excited about: "It is excellent that West Ealing will be served by the Crossrail. It will cut down my commute to work in Soho significantly."
